Like many others, Zayaat left his ancestral homeland in search of safety and stability for his family. Despite this, there is not a day that goes by that he doesn’t miss the seemingly endless stretches of land and open sky. He holds tightly to Xaelic tradition and is eager to share with those who may be interested–or to meet those who also called the Steppe their home.(Specific tribal ties: Oronir, Uyagir, Dotharl.)

In and out of Thavnair, he’s familiar with its colorful performers. He hasn’t openly admitted it, but the fierce elegance of those who practice the art of Kriegstanz have intrigued him. He's a body artist. It sounds cooler than piercer, he thinks. Has anyone tried to tell him how fuckin' pretentious it sounds? No. But you're welcome to try!Anyway. This isn't where he saw himself in five years but a surprise apprenticeship landed him here and its been paying the bills. Mostly. Zayaat is a co-founder of the Blackscale Parlor in Thavnair, a piercer and jeweler by trade. And wouldn’t you know it? He specializes in auri-specific procedures, from maintenance to gilding horns and scales with intricate designs. If you’re looking to get some work done or are just curious, feel free to stop by.
